Your Child is Being Corrupted by Spongebob Squarepants!
It’s been a long time since we first met Spongebob Squarepants in 1999, though there doesn’t seem to be much talk about the awful things he continues to do to our poor little childrens’ minds on a daily basis.
Where are the throngs of protesters chanting catchy slogans? Where is the Senatorial debate? Why do we not see masses of protestors with signs and torches when we need them to come to our aid?
Spongebob is a sea sponge that lives in a pineapple at the bottom of the ocean in a town called “Bikini Bottom”.
It is easy to point out many different things that are wrong with this one sentence that really should cause you to think about what Spongebob is teaching children!
- Spongebob looks like a yellow kitchen sponge and not a sea sponge at all, though both his parents do look much more like sea sponges
- He lives in a pineapple that never biodegrades
- The towns’ name is a sexual innuendo
- Bikini Bottom is also a reference to Bikini Atoll, an area devastated by the USA in the 1940s and 50s by nuclear weapons testing
With that one simple sentence about the show we have already come across some major issues, and yet nobody says a word and we continue to allow our children to watch. With every single episode that you watch, you will notice more and more things in the show that could be damaging to your childs developing mind.
The characters routinely use fire underwater, such as campfires.
The characters go to the “Goo Lagoon” beach to swim and sunbathe… underwater. One surfer fish named “Scooter” DIED at Goo Lagoon because he was buried in sand up to his neck and nobody dug him out before high tide came in and drowned him! (Spongebob Season 2: Episode Name: Bubble Buddy)
Scooter does return in later episodes, alive.
The various fish-based characters drive boats as cars and ride bicycles with multiple rotating paddles as wheels.
One of Spongebobs’ neighbors is ‘Squidward Tentacles’… the octopus… though he has 6 tentacles instead of the correct number of either 8 for an octopus or 10 for a squid. Squidward also plays the clarinet… underwater.
“Mr. Krabs” is a crab that owns the “Krusty Krab” restaurant, and he has a daughter named “Pearl”… who is a Sperm Whale.
Across the street from the Krusty Krab is the “Chum Bucket” restaurant owned by “Sheldon J. Plankton” whom everyone refers to as just “Plankton”. Plankton is in fact not “planktonic” (drifting in sea waters), but is “benthic” (living on the ocean floor), and is married to…. a computer named “Karen”, whom in the Spongebob movie states that she never agreed to marry Plankton.
And now Spongebob has moved from your television into the real world.
I live with my wife and our two children in a suburb of St. Paul MN, and we sometimes go to Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. We have taken the children to the renamed “Camp Snoopy” which is now “Nickelodeon Universe”, and there you can find many references to Spongebob throughout the amusement park. On occasion they even have a person dressed as Spongebob walking around greeting children, and they can also have their photo taken with him.
What more proof do we need that Spongebob is a conspiracy to brainwash our children and make them think that all the anomalies I pointed out above are to be considered “normal” or “acceptable”?
Do we really only care about being spoon fed mindless entertainment each day from the moment we wake? We as a society are being taught that we shouldn’t think for ourselves or concern ourselves with the actually important events happening in our world, but should instead sit at home and watch “American Idol”.
I took a quick break from my Sony digital camera repair work and just finished watching my Spongebob Season 3 box set, and will purchase season 4, 5, 6 etc. shortly… strictly to do research only most assuredly. I will report back with my findings after watching them all… a few times… with my children of course because they love Spongebob and we watch it all the time. Now I need to get back to some Canon digital camera repair work or I won’t be able to buy that new Spongebob box set!
I can’t wait for the new Spongebob movie to come out? I can’t wait to see it!

A Projection TV Can Provide a Cinematic Experience
When you are looking for an RCA Projection Television, you can enjoy quite a few possibilities. RCA is the industry leader among the companies which still are successfully marketing rear projection and front projection televisions. People who want the visual intensity of a cinema in their house are counting on RCA to make their dreams come true.
The reason a growing number of people decide on a projection television rather than an LCD flat screen is that they can get a video on a large screen that is far above the the quality offered by yesterday’s big screen televisions. When big screen televisions were initially developed, they could not access the technology that is available today for picture viewing. Consequently, it was not easy to see the video up close or from certain angles around the room. The most recent RCA projection television line eliminates those shortcomings. The advanced technology employed by RCA enables you to properly view the picture up close and from different angles around the room. Furthermore, the retail value of the RCA projection televisions is significantly less than the flat screen televisions for the same size model, although the cost of LCD televisions has become much less recently.
A 52 inch screen is considered a good sized unit and will do the job for most rooms. The RCA 52 inch projection CRT TV is one of the models that uses CRT technology, which has shown itself to be successful when it comes to rear projection television sets. It produces a great quality picture and a wide band video amplifier. For a 52 inch television, it is particularly affordable and is supported by a company who has earned your respect - RCA.
If you want larger, you may move up to an RCA projection television which measures 56 inches. This also offers a high definition display and a wide band video amplifier. The CRT technology that is employed with the two of these projection televisions enables them to broadcast the signal for both audio and video at the same time, so that you can avoid the feeling of disconnection that some people experienced when viewing early models of these appliances.
RCA is the most successful of the few companies who are continuing to develop the high definition technology in rear projection televisions. Notwitstanding the visibility of the flat screen LCD televisions, a significant amount of people are choosing the RCA projection television sets since these televisions get a higher quality picture. The main allure of flat screen televisions is they are made to be attached to a wall – but few flat screen tv owners make a habit of this.
RCA projection television sets are available in both rear and front projection. They use CRT and DLP technology and can be acquired in sizes from 52 to 72 inches. Those who would prefer a big screen television set from a name that they have confidence in at a reasonable price are opting for an RCA projection television.

The DW Sci-Fi Series And Doctor Who Audiobooks Collection: Some History
If you have lived in 1 of the mayor English speaking countries it would have been most likely very difficult for you to of not, at the very least, heard of the Science fiction legend Doctor Who! With the resurrection of the series in 2005 after a 15 year pause, Doctor Who is as popular as ever with shows being broadcasted on the international sci-fi channel and even on American television channels as well as the BBC’s transmissions.
Thanks to the new series DW is now officially the longest running Sci-Fi serial ever with the first episode broadcasted by the BBC on November the twenty third 1963, an episode in which the Doctor and his friends voyaged back one hundred thousand years into Earth’s past to give a hand to some somewhat dim cavemen so that they could make the discovery of fire. Star Trek happens to be the 2nd longest running Science fiction serial of all time having started in nineteen sixty thee with stories being produced up in to only a few years ago.
With the huge popularity of Doctor Who, the BBC began producing Doctor Who Audio back in the 70s for cassette and LP. When it all started the BBC solely made soundtracks from the original television series & then had the Drs of the time add some binding narration for completion. It wasn’t long before the BBC decided to take the audio releases to the next level by releasing audio book stories solely for Audio release.
To add to this the BBC started making radio stories, again with past Drs who had played in the series, these stories were also made available in Audiobook format. Another great use the BBC have found for audio with Doctor Who is the re-creation of old stories that had been lost. Now the BBC’s DW Audio collection has over 50 titles all available in quality Digital format at a reduced download price! There exist Audios from the very 1st show all the way up to the most recent serial with David Tennent and even Sarah Jane and Torchwood Audio.
On our planet today audio is even more popular than ever thanks to MP3 players. With multitasking becoming everyday more an important part of our lives it’s not surprising that Audio Book sales for both DW and in general have increased. Another reason why individuals like DW audio is because in many cases the audio stories are now read by the actors of the series. They are also a good choice for long car rides, especially with children as there’s nothing like a good DW episode to keep them occupied.
The way things stand right now it looks like Dr. Who and its spin-off show torchwood and the Sarah Jane adventures are doing really well so things look good for us to be able to enjoy them for a number of years to come.

The Sony XBR HDTV can be purchased in several various sizes and includes the large-screened Bravia. Comparing Discount LCD TVS
Looking for that new TV set? You’re no doubt looking for a LCD (or liquid crystal display) TV, but know all too well that they can be very expensive, especially the high definition LCD models. This is true, but there are in fact great discount LCD TVs out there to be found. Post holiday sales when retailers pull out all the stops price wise in a mad scramble to get customers into their shops can be an excellent time to find LCD TV sets at a bargain price.
Some internet sites and stores will offer “out of the box” cheap lcds. LCD TV’s that have been on display are sold at a discount. They are brand new but without the box and sometimes the paperwork. The price may be so far below the retail price it may be worth missing the box or paperwork.
If you are not intent upon having the latest model you may be able find a few discount LCD TV’s. Last year’s model may have all the same features but have a slightly different look. Read all the specs carefully to be sure you are getting everything you want out of the discount LCD TV’s. Do you want “high definition” or “enhanced definition?”
We have told you where to look for great prices on the best LDC TV but have you decided which brand or model you are looking for? It is best to do some research about the best LCD TV’s to know exactly what you want and then search for the best price.
When looking for the best discounted lcdtv take sometime to compare the color quality, contrast, and sharpness of the display. If you will be using your LCD TV a lot for playing video games or as a computer monitor these features are very important. Look for the darks to be very dark this will produce a more vivid color image. A lesser quality TV will have lower contrast and the color will not be as sharp.
The future of television is most certainly HD TV and LCD TV’s. One of the nicest feature is size. Even though they have larger screens than the old console TV’s of the past they are more portable. The flat screen panel can be easily mounted on a wall, eliminating the need for a large TV storage unit. The flat screen can also sit conveniently on top of most dressers or bookshelves or credenzas.
