How To Be Successful Through Film School Online
If you think you have all it takes to make it to Hollywood, then grab your camera, go online, and enroll in a film school online. Of course you have heard of stories of people who started out with virtually nothing and slowly eked their way through film school until finally hitting it huge in the lucrative filmmaking industry.
But, the drawback in having to enroll in an actual film school is that it is time consuming and can be very very costly as well. So the next best option would be to go for film schools online. What’s best about these online film schools is that you are allowed to learn and develop your skills in your own pace. Many of these film school enthusiasts have current jobs and it would be futile to enroll in a real class because they would be giving up their jobs. Being able to study at your time and without interference to your work would be the most appropriate setup for many who would need to continue to work yet would still want to finish studying how to do films. Most of these online schools base their learning aptitude on the outcome but not under a pressured schedule. So a student can take his sweet time in completing the online film course. Normally, a student can access lectures and modules until two years from enrollment. And after a designated number of modules have been completed, the student will be awarded a certificate of personalized course completion.
Plus, these online film schools being more program based than time based, each student has his own customized curriculum, depending on the log in schedule and the time the course has been completed.
And these film schools online can help you learn whatever film interest you have, from the commercial video production to fictional filmmaking or documentary recording and even music video production. Generally speaking, online film courses are divided into various modules wherein each module tackles a particular field of filmmaking, and at the end of each module, an assignment is required of every student to complete, enhancing his newly learned skills and allowing room for experimentation on the learned skills.
After submitting your work, it will then be analyzed and would undergo assessment and the good thing about it is that you can view the other students’ works and learn from them as well and also get your teachers’ feedback which is a great learning process.

Contrary to what many people think, being an actor is not necessary for you to end up having a role in a film. Acting, after all, is just one of the roles required to complete a movie. There could be a talented cast for a certain film but it can never be made if there are no people to take care of the sets, write the script, direct the movie, hold the cameras or raise funds for it. Even the most famous award-winning actors cannot ignore the importance of the people who do film production jobs. The actors simply do the acting but it is the entire crew behind the scenes who capture every action and turn it into a film.
Therefore, if you want to build a career in the movie industry but just do not have the knack for acting, you can certainly specialize in one or two of the film production jobs necessary. You may not be able to see yourself on the widescreen but you can read your name once the ending credits are shown. It’s not only about the prestige of seeing your name there, your bank account may also grow with the promise of getting higher pay. However, it does take some careful preparation before you can get a job in film production. You don’t have to attend a formal school cause there are a lot of online training courses in the Internet.
Before you enroll yourself in an online program, it’s a prerequisite that you find out first what aspect of filmmaking you want to focus on. Lots of individuals would like to immediately try their hand on directing which is why it is all the more significant that they enroll in a course related to it. If you want a shorter route, you can do the same thing. After all, all that you are to learn in a film directing course is sort of a preview of all other film production jobs.
When you have completed the course, don’t expect yourself to be on the director’s chair any sooner. Even the most famous film directors had to try out in other film production jobs first. Some had to work as writers, cameramen, video editors at first before they become directors. This might also be the process you undergo too. This is an important learning stage, one that prepares you to be in control of movie production.

Advances In 3D Movies
Cinemas have been around forever. No matter what age you are, you can never grow out of visiting your local cinema. With more blockbuster movies hitting our screens, I do feel that new more than ever is the time cinemas should take full advantage.
With current advancements in technology we are seeing people wanting to stay at home much more, with the release of HD and Blu-Ray there is really no reason to keep visiting the cinema. Ok yes it is a good social experience, but for the amount you are paying, you could in fact wait a few more months and buy the Disc and watch it an unlimited amount of times.
Therefore I feel now is the right time for film developers and cinemas to get together and give us great 3D interaction, so it actually feels like we are in the movie. They already give us Dolby surround sound so why not go the whole mile and give us surround vision?
3D films have been around for a long time, the days where you had to put on your special 3D spectacles and watch the movie were great, but it did effect the film quality making the image very distorted. There are two approaches in which I feel the cinemas should take, first and foremost if they are going to hand out specs let them be futuristic 3D glasses so that we can get the full quality experience from it.
The second feature and most exciting in my mind, is to make the movie theatre into an actual movie. Why just have a screen at the front? Reflect the projectors all the way around the room? When you look up you will see the sky and when you look down you will see the films ground. This can be done using obstruction lights and high resolution paint on walls.
Can you imagine how awesome it would be to watch an action movie like that? It would look as though you are in the movie, so you will feel every action and sound. The cinemas should take note and up their technology before it is too late, the cinema needs to develop itself just like home entertainment has been doing.
