Vintage Fab Four Tone From A Classic Electric Guitar

Can you remember a few of the greatest tunes that came out of the sixties and also the early 70’s?

‘Ticket to Ride’ is without question one such hit song that will come to your memory and featured John together with George playing what was soon to turn into the iconic guitar - the Epiphone Casino guitar.

During one point in time or another all three of the guitar playing Fab Four performed with Epiphone , and this unique musical instrument on it’s own is what got them their special tone throughout this period.

Throughout the early to late sixties semi hollow body as well as hollow body had been enormously fashionable with pop bands, most certainly much more so as compared with solid body which certainly started to make their impression throughout the seventies with super groups such as Led Zeppelin popularizing the Gibson’s together with the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton delivering fantastic tones out of Stratocasters. Rock sounds in the 70’s became more musically dominated by instruments and it transformed in to the era of the guitar solo, where a large amount of sustain ended up being the order of the day.

Go back 10 years however and pop songs were still dominated by harmonies and lyrics, and appealing songs that would rule the radio waves. The with John and George each playing an Epiphone guitar, were the powerhouse group which headed that time period, and their tunes have lived on and since become classics in the past 50 odd years.

In the present day Epiphone have successfully done a tremendous job in reproducing as used by the masters all those decades ago. These kinds of instruments are much more than solely tributes, they are faithful replicas making use of top quality components and electronics that recreate as close as achievable the instruments which were produced back then.

Yet another such guitar is the Epiphone Casino Elitist - chiefly a luthier built guitar with every consideration to fine detail. These kinds of are all a pleasure to play - being hollow suggests a super light weight guitar.

Trying to play tracks by the will be a huge amount of fun simply because they are generally 3 chord songs with very straightforward to pick up rhythm and additionally a not too complex guitar solo someplace around the middle section of the track.

Playing tunes using a guitar identical to models they themselves employed can make that experience a whole lot better.

The Beatles Mono Box Set

The box set that has gained the most attention of hardcore fans is the mono box set because it’s the first time in decades that The mono mixes have been available to purchase new in any format.

Purist fans believe that these mono mixes are really the way their was originally meant to be heard and they have a good reason for believing that. It was the mono mixes that most people listened to back in the and The spent the majority of their time working on getting the mono mixes just right. It really wasn’t until around 1968 that The started to take their stereo mixes seriously.

The Beatles in Stereo Box

This box set has been the most popular release of 2009. It’s been an enormous unit shifter and for good reason. It contains their complete discography in high quality digitally remastered stereo. These remastered songs sound absolutely fantastic (these discs are far better than the old discs you probably have at the moment.)

The biggest improvements compared to the old discs are heard in the way Paul’s bass guitar blasts through the mix more so than ever before and Ringo’s drums sound much better too. Another big positive is being able to hear each individual vocal part with more clearity.

The Beatles Remastered USB

This USB is a digital version of the stereo box set. It includes both 320kbps mp3s and 24bit FLAC files. Along with the obvious audio component, this USB memory stick also contains the visual elements from the stereo box set such as the 13 album documentaries, the extensive liner notes for each album, and the previously unpublished photos.
