When it comes to online movies, no one could deny how popular they have become in recent times. For a large number of people, when it comes to movies, this is the only way that they watch them. Although I do understand why this is a popular way to watch movies, there are quite a few disadvantages as well. You may think that I am anti-online movies but this is not true because I still watch them myself sometimes. But when it comes to online movies, there are reasons not to watch them and below are just a few of these reasons.

• There is often pretty poor quality when it comes to online movies. This means that you do not get to enjoy the full potential of films. It is usually better to try and really watch movies in the best quality possible because most of us only watch them the once. You probably won’t enjoy the movie that much if you have to watch it with poor picture and audio.

• If you are going to be watching these online then you will be dependent on a good internet connection. Even if you have a good connection, the speeds can vary during the day. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to watch a movie as it continuously needs to stop and buffer.

• You are always going to be risking malware or viruses being imported to your computer when you download movies. These things can be a nightmare to get rid of and they may do a lot of damage to your device. You may even find that some viruses will target your personal information. So you should make a point of never using websites that don’t have a good reputation.

• When it comes to websites offering free movies, there are so many to choose from but the problem is that a lot of them are scams. They promise to let you see a certain movie but instead they bombard you with advertising. All you will get is pages and pages of adverts every time you click the links to see the movie.

The web has opened our lives to numerous wonderful things. We are able to do things such as shopping, sending electronic mails, looking for and finding information - and so much more besides. One of the better things we’re able to do though is watch movies online free.
