Stay away from rush conclusions
When looking at a feature on Google Trends, occasionally there may be a search that is popular and could mean many things. On the morning of Thursday, April 8, the term “rush” appeared on the list, and that could be taken to mean several relevant things. First, there’s been a new tour announced for Canadian prog-rock group Rush, and then several other things which aren’t of nearly the same importance. You could even rush out and put some instant cash into getting tickets.
Men who work
Easily, the only Rush worth discussing that springs to mind is that super group from the Great White North. They will be going on tour soon and will be performing the Moving Pictures album while on the road. It will be a continent-crossing jaunt that will hit numerous spots in Canada and the U.S. The big news is that part of the tour will be the New York State Fair, which makes NY state residents lucky. The state fair where I live only attracts washed up rock bands from the ’70s and ’80s (and none of the cool ones), and washed up or obscure country bands. Back to my point, Rush will perform Moving Pictures entirely, following a trend of recent years. Bruce Springsteen played his whole album, Asbury Park, live while Megadeth is playing the whole Rust in Pease album, etc. Yes, Moving Pictures is the album with Tom Sawyer on it, and one of my other favorites, Limelight. Needless to say, whether it’s at the New York State Fair or not, it would be worth getting a cash advance to catch this show on the road. (Rush tour dates here.)
Todays Xana-juice and Tom Fool
There isn’t any new about Rush Limbaugh. This can be a relief to many. The other Rush that appears in a search is the Apple Rush, which is a small juice company trying to sell stock in the stock exchange. The company sells sparkling organic juice, mostly apple and apple blends, and it is doing quite well. Even though that juice sounds very good (and I could use some right now) the word Rush was on Google Trends due to the band that has an upcoming tour. I’d love to see them in action; I wish they were coming to my area.
