Age Groups And Their Dances
If you really do not think that different age groups dance differently to others then all you need to do is step onto a wedding dance floor and you will be in complete agreeance.
So what are the comparisons in the age groups and why are they there?
Kids
The children seem to be the craziest when it comes to dancing as they will just run in there and bang their heads around for a few minutes before they run out of steam and have to stop. When my kids were dancing they would run in when they heard a song they liked but after a while they realised they were being watched so they ran back again.
Couples
I have to say I didn’t see one single couple dancing well. Most of the time you get the male stepping on the woman’s shoes and I have to admit this is what I always do with my wife, I cannot dance at all. Once again you will find that they will have a dance for a few of the classics that they know and then drop out.
20s
I have to say that it is the late teens and early 20s where I saw all of the energy with many of them staying on the dance floor for the entire evening. These people do have the energy but they need to learn to dance.
Old Generations
I have to admit, watching my elderly mother and father dance is a very moving thing, all of those dancing holidays have really paid off and they are so graceful on their feet. Saying that, they couldnt really manage much more than a couple of songs at a time.
So book one of those Torquay hotels and get dancing because if you do not you will look like a pratt at the next wedding!
