A Mini Projector for the Class
I’ve been using MPRO110 Micro Professional Projector in my classes for several months. The interest of children grew more as I show pictures and clips through the mini projector. I was able to execute lessons easier and better. My students are learning and having fun at the same time.
My friend told me the projector about a year ago. He was telling me how useful it is for my teaching job. I didn’t pay attention to what he told me until I finally tried it.
My job is to teach English and Science for all primary levels in school. In English, I need to put more pictures in order for the students to create sentences based on the images. Sometimes, I let them sing. For Science, more pictures are needed to show as well as for further and clearer explanation of a lesson. I did all these things with the mini projector I bought.
I didn’t know how helpful and useful the projector is. I was ignoring about it when my friend suggested me to get one. I can never imagine that a small device that fits to my palm would be a big help in my classes.
When I had my mini projector, I didn’t bother borrowing the school’s big projector. Besides, I need to use a projector more than what I’ve expected. I always bring my mini projector when I go to my class. I don’t have any problem bringing it because I can only put it in my bag like a book. The projector’s compact size made it really comfy and easy for me to carry it everyday.
I cover the windows with dark colored curtains and other light sources in order to produce clear images of the pictures I am presenting. Bright and colorful images are shown when a room is dark. The LED lamp of this mini projector makes the images brighter which is good. This mini projector really works into different compatible resolutions like VGA, SVGA and WXGA.
When I need more visuals to teach a particular subject, I simply project my MPRO110 in a few seconds. I don’t worry much about preparing it because I can easily connect it to my laptop. It’s easy and comfortable to set up things. Instead of mounting printed images on a paper board, I only need to project. This really saves a lot of time.
Using a mini projector in my classes is truly a great way to get the attention of my students. All eyes of the children are focused on the images shown. They tend to be more attentive and quiet. Through the video clips and photos, discussion is brought then my students and I would start exchanging ideas. I noticed that the students became more communicative and expressive. Based on what they see, they want to share their own ideas about the lesson which is what I mostly want my students to develop. I even let the youngest level to have an interaction.
With the projector, my students are able to show their skills and ideas. I’m glad that I’ve finally met the assistance I need in my class.
