More companies in London chose to crack out the bottle opener and send their employees to venues last year than to any other location. The best known winery in London, Vinopolis, was top of the list for businesses and reported a 12% increase in bookings themselves last year.

There have been a number of reasons put forward by specialists Team Tactics, as to why is such a popular option right now. Firstly, it can take place almost anywhere and there are many companies who offer mobile services. This saves money for everyone involved as transport costs are kept to a minimum and a wholes days work doesn’t necassiliry have to lost. Secondly, is a surprisingly cheap activity. Bigger businesses are frequently offered large discounts for high group numbers so companies have got an incentive to send all their staff to the same place. Coincidently, in the same month the stats where released, the London store Harrods announced that wine was the most popular gift among staff members and management in businesses.
